According to Voetbalprimeur.nl, Zakaria Ouazane has announced his departure from Ajax after eleven years and now appears to be moving to FC Twente.

Zakaria Ouazane, a 19-year-old Moroccan and Dutch winger, and Ajax are in discussions to terminate his contract, which is set to run until mid-2027. If his contract is dissolved, FC Twente hopes to sign him. A previous potential move to Real Madrid did not happen, and before that, it was reported that AZ was near to completing a domestic transfer for him. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 13 appearances for Ajax's U21 team in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, scoring one goal.
