Jordan James, a 20-year-old Anglo-Welsh defensive midfielder from Birmingham City, is set to join Rennes this weekend. An agreement has been reached between Birmingham and the Breton club for his transfer, which is valued at around 5 million euros. James has played 42 matches (scoring 8 goals) in the English Championship last season for Birmingham, his formative club now relegated to League One.
