Fanatik reports that Beşiktaş have renewed their interest in signing Johan Bakayoko for the winger position. Following an unsuccessful transfer attempt for Mohamed Salah, Beşiktaş has re-established contact with Johan Bakayoko and his club RB Leipzig. The player is under contract with Leipzig until 2030, and a loan offer with a purchase option is being considered. Johan Bakayoko had previously been of interest to Beşiktaş and transferred from PSV Eindhoven to Leipzig in summer 2025.

The Beşiktaş management has approached Leipzig for the 23-year-old player and presented its first offer to the German side, which includes loan options.
