FC Twente is one of several clubs that have inquired about Leeds United's striker Joël Piroe, with Ipswich Town, Paris FC, and Celtic also interested in a winter transfer. However, a transfer may be difficult because the player intends to compete for his position at Leeds and re-evaluate his future in the summer. Piroe moved to Leeds in August 2023 for a reported fee of €14 million and is under contract until June 2027.
