According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Wrexham are finalising a permanent deal to sign Burnley's English defender Joe Worrall. It is believed that the Welsh club is set to pay a fee of around £2 million for the 29-year-old. The transfer comes as Worrall has struggled for game time at the Lancashire club, having not yet appeared in the Championship this season. Wrexham have moved to add an experienced defender to their squad in the final days of the window. Worrall, who has three caps for the England U21 team, joined Burnley in August 2024 and his contract runs until 2028. Sheffield United have also been linked with the player.
