Joe Willock Transfer from Newcastle United to Leeds United

Leeds have shown an interest in Joe Willock and have been told to make a proper offer, following claims that the club had attempted to sign him for approximately £10m.

Leeds United have identified Joe Willock as a target and want to sign the Newcastle United midfielder. According to a report from iNews, Leeds are hoping to add more quality to the team during the January transfer window. Joe Willock's contract is due to expire in the summer of 2027, and Newcastle United could be open to selling him for the right price. Newcastle are unlikely to prevent his departure if a suitable offer is presented in the coming weeks and are likely to sanction his departure.

Team Talk reports on the potential transfer of Joe Willock to Leeds. Joe Willock has been discussed by Leeds as an alternative option, should Leeds miss out on Solomon. Willock can play off either wing or as an attacking midfielder. While Leeds are admirers of Willock, it's believed Crystal Palace are also keeping tabs on him in the likely event Eberechi Eze is lured away this summer. Additionally, Willock, who is London-born, favors a return to the capital rather than Yorkshire. His exit from Newcastle could be hastened if the club manages to sign Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest.
