Newcastle United have an interest in signing Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes and face competition from Manchester United. The 25-year-old is expected to leave Wolves at the end of the season because he does not wish to play in the Championship. There have been rumours that Gomes could have a transfer fee of around €40 million.
