Jhonder Cádiz Transfer from Pachuca to Independiente
Venezuelan forward Jhonder Cádiz, 30, whose registration belongs to Pachuca, was offered to Independiente by his representation. The Argentine club is looking for another striker as coach Gustavo Quinteros wants a variant for Gabriel Ávalos and considers Ignacio Pussetto a winger. However, the situation is unlikely to progress because Pachuca recently lost Ecuadorian forward Enner Valencia to an injury that will sideline him for at least a couple of weeks. This leaves the Mexican club with only Cádiz and his compatriot Salomón Rondón as their offensive options. Cádiz joined Pachuca in July 2025 and his contract runs until June 30, 2027. He has 18 caps and 2 goals for Venezuela. In the current season, he has recorded 2 goals and 2 assists in 14 Liga MX Apertura appearances, adding one assist in three Clausura games. His current Transfermarkt market value is €2.80m.
