Union Berlin has shown interest in acquiring St. Juste, a 28-year-old Dutch centre-back. Although Sporting has yet to receive a formal proposal, the player's agent has informed them of the Bundesliga club's interest. St. Juste, who recently declined a transfer to Osasuna because of contract and tax issues, is willing to leave Sporting if his conditions are satisfied. Sporting had previously accepted a three million euro offer from the La Liga club, but the transfer did not materialize. Currently, St. Juste is the fifth-choice central defender at Sporting and has only one year remaining on his contract, increasing the likelihood of a transfer as Sporting is not expected to obstruct his departure. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €6 million.
