AZ has shown concrete interest in signing Genk player Jarne Steuckers. The Dutch club's interest in the 24-year-old Belgian winger followed a friendly match between the two teams, in which Steuckers played. During the previous season, the player lost his starting place at Genk, providing eleven assists but scored no goals. His contract with the Belgian club is set to expire in June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €5.00m. Steuckers has been capped six times for the Belgium U21 team, scoring two goals.
