Rudy Galetti reports that Barcelona have a serious interest in Jakub Kiwior. Deco has already held talks with FC Porto president André Villas-Boas over a possible move. The Polish defender is included on Hansi Flick’s shortlist of left-footed centre-backs for next season.

According to the Portuguese newspaper ABOLA, Barcelona is considering acquiring Porto's central defender Jakub Kiwior as an alternative to Alessandro Bastoni. One of the main advantages of Kiwior compared to Bastoni would be a much lower transfer fee. Kiwior recently transferred permanently to Porto, which paid 17 million euros to Arsenal for him. He signed a new contract with Porto until 2030 that contains a release clause of 70 million euros.

FC Barcelona is interested in 26-year-old Jakub Kiwior as the club seeks to reinforce its defense for the upcoming season. It is said that representatives from the Catalan team have observed Kiwior multiple times this season.
