Jadon Sancho is one of the players Manchester United is willing to offer to Aston Villa as part of a swap deal to acquire Emiliano Martinez. Aston Villa has been in contention for Sancho, as revealed by TEAMtalk's Rudy Galetti.
Team Talk reports on the growing interest in Sancho from multiple clubs, including Aston Villa. Aston Villa, along with Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, AC Milan and some Saudi Pro League clubs, have shown interest in Sancho. Team Talk has reported that Aston Villa is considering signing Jadon Sancho as a potential replacement for Marcus Rashford. Rashford, who had been on loan at Villa from Manchester United, could be replaced as Villa seeks a new left-sided attacker. Recently, the club has expressed interest in Sancho, although discussions have not yet reached an advanced stage, with further developments anticipated soon. Sancho has officially returned to Manchester United following his loan spell with Chelsea, but his stay may be brief given Aston Villa's interest. Manchester United is keen to sell Sancho to help finance a substantial squad overhaul. Sancho had refused a pay cut to remain at Chelsea, prompting the club to pay a £5m penalty to terminate their £25m purchase obligation. Besides Aston Villa, Napoli and AC Milan are reportedly also considering bids for Sancho this summer. Villa has yet to decide on exercising their £40m option to buy Rashford, who is reportedly open to exploring opportunities abroad, with Barcelona showing significant interest.
