Jaden Dixon Transfer from Stoke City U21 to Arsenal

Jaden Dixon has confirmed that he is leaving Stoke City, writing on Instagram that his time at the club has concluded. He thanked all the coaches that have supported him over the years and also thanked Stoke City for a time he will not forget. Dixon is regarded as a long-term defensive prospect and a modern, ball-playing defender, a style compatible with Arsenal’s approach at academy and development level.

Arsenal have signed 18-year-old defender Jaden Dixon from Stoke City. Arsenal will pay Stoke City £3.2 million plus bonuses for Jaden Dixon, according to Pete O'Rourke via X. Dixon has signed a four-year deal at The Emirates. Arsenal signed Dixon ahead of Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, Utrecht, and NEC Nijmegen. The club has been interested in Dixon for at least a year. Football Insider reported in February 2025 that Mikel Arteta's side had attempted to sign him from Stoke City at that time.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have reached an agreement with Stoke City to sign defender Jaden Dixon. Dixon holds both English and Jamaican citizenship. The deal for the 18-year-old is valued at £3.2 million plus add-ons. Dixon is an England U19 international with five caps. He is mainly a centre-back but can also play at right-back. He made six senior appearances for Stoke last season. Dixon joined Stoke in July 2023, and his contract is set to expire in June 2027. In the 2025/2026 season, he has scored one goal in seven appearances for the U21 team in the Premier League 2. Transfermarkt lists his market value as €300k.
