Goalkeeper Jack Bonham has completed a transfer to Bolton Wanderers from Championship side Stoke City, signing an 18-month deal. The move occurred after Bolton's loan keeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe returned to Chelsea, and Bonham's availability was influenced by Stoke signing Gavin Bazunu on loan from Southampton. Bonham, who previously played under Bolton boss Steven Schumacher at Stoke, stated that he needed to get out and play and that the opportunity at a club of Bolton's size was something he could not turn down. He said the decision was an obvious one and that he wanted to be part of Bolton's journey towards the Premier League.
