Racing Santander has purchased Ivan Martin from Girona. The agreement between the two clubs was for €3 million plus €1 million in bonuses, and it includes a 20% clause on any future resale in favor of Girona. Ivan Martin has undergone medical examinations, signed a four-year contract, and is immediately available to the team.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Iván Martín will leave Girona to join Racing de Santander. The midfielder will be transferred to the Cantabrian club for a fixed fee of three million euros, an additional million in variables, and 20% of a future sale for Girona. The transfer is pending the completion of its final steps, and the player will arrive in Cantabria in the coming hours. His absence from the Girona squad for the trip to Córdoba showed that the transfer was proceeding. Iván Martín collected his belongings from the sports city and said goodbye to teammates and staff.

Marca reports that a total agreement has been reached between both clubs for the transfer of Iván Martín to Racing Santander. The player would move for 3 million euros, with an additional one million in variables, and the Catalan club retains a percentage of a potential future sale. Both Racing and Iván Martín want to accelerate the operation so the player can join José Alberto as soon as possible.

According to ElDesmarque, Racing Santander has inquired about the conditions for a possible departure of Iván Martín from Girona. The player himself views this possibility positively. Iván Martín has a release clause of 20 million euros in his contract with Girona, which runs until 2028, but the club's relegation leads to the expectation that he could depart for a much lower amount. Villarreal holds a 30% stake in any future sale. The player's desire is to remain in Spain with a project that ensures him an important role in La Liga.
