West Ham is reportedly interested in signing 24-year-old Serbian midfielder Ivan Ilic, who might depart from Torino following the arrival of a new midfielder, Asllani. According to The Guardian, West Ham has expressed interest in Ilic, who is anticipated to leave by early 2025. Ilic's previous transfer to Spartak Moscow fell through, and he returned to Torino in January but reportedly never felt like a central figure in the team. Torino might consider selling him if a suitable offer is made. The addition of Asllani, formerly of Inter and Sassuolo, could lead Torino to consider letting go of Ilic as they manage their abundance in midfield, possibly paving the way for his move to West Ham. Ilic, contracted with Torino until June 2027, has a market value of €16 million according to Transfermarkt and has also been associated with Atalanta.
