Arsenal are ahead of Newcastle in the pursuit of Iván Fresneda. The 21-year-old Spanish defender has made 19 appearances and scored one goal in the Liga Portugal, and Sporting CP will probably sell him this summer. He joined Sporting CP from Real Valladolid in August 2023 for a reported fee of €9 million and his current contract runs until June 2028. Fresneda, who has two caps and one goal for Spain's U21 team, has a current market value of €12.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
