According to Darren Witcoop on X, Stockport County want to re-sign Charlton Athletic striker Isaac Olaofe. Witcoop has reported that Challinor wants Olaofe back for the second-half of this campaign. Stockport County are keen to bring the attacker back to Edgeley Park before the end of the January transfer window if possible.

Isaac Olaofe, a 26-year-old English and Ghanaian striker, transferred to Charlton Athletic from Stockport County in the summer. At the London club, his standing within the team has been lowered. The recent arrival of striker Lyndon Dykes has further limited Olaofe's first-team opportunities, as he was already behind Charlie Kelman and Miles Leaburn. He has made 26 appearances for the Addicks this season. A potential return to Stockport County is being discussed and is considered a move that would be advantageous for all parties. Stockport are currently competing for promotion in League One, and it is reported that they are looking to sign another attacker during the winter window, which makes a reunion with their former player a viable option. His contract with the club runs until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €600k.
