Imrân Louza Transfer from Watford to Ipswich Town
Ipswich Town are considering a move for Watford midfielder Imrân Louza in the final week of the transfer window to support their promotion bid. The Moroccan playmaker, who is Watford's current captain, joined the club in the summer of 2021 for a fee of approximately €10 million. The 26-year-old, who has 14 caps and 2 goals for Morocco, has scored six goals and provided six assists this season. It is believed that Watford are not under significant pressure to sell the player, given he signed a contract extension in September 2022 that keeps him at the club until June 2028. Several Premier League clubs, including Brighton, Everton, Fulham, and Brentford, have also been linked with the midfielder, who has a current market value of €10.00m according to Transfermarkt. Reports in January 2026 mentioned an initial offer of around €4 million from Brighton.
