According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Borussia Mönchengladbach signed Hugo Bolin from Malmö FF on Deadline Day for a fee of two million euros. The 22-year-old Swedish left winger had also attracted interest from several clubs in the MLS. Bolin has been capped twice by Sweden and had a contract with Malmö that was set to expire at the end of 2026. Transfermarkt lists his market value at €6.00m.
