Bild has reported on the official transfer of Haris Tabakovic to Gladbach from TSG Hoffenheim. Gladbach has officially announced the transfer of Haris Tabakovic, who traveled to the Lower Rhine on Thursday and completed his medical check on Friday. The striker, who comes from Bundesliga rival TSG Hoffenheim, will be on loan for one season until June 30, 2026. Roland Virkus, Borussia's sporting director, described Tabakovic as an experienced and dangerous striker whose physical presence could immediately benefit the team. Tabakovic conveyed his excitement about the new challenge and his eagerness to play in front of the fans and experience the atmosphere at Borussia-Park. He also mentioned having had very good discussions with the club's officials.
Haris Tabakovic's transfer to Borussia Mönchengladbach is considered a done deal. There is a full agreement between Borussia and TSG Hoffenheim for a loan move. Tabakovic, who still has a contract with Hoffenheim until 2027, is set to undergo a medical examination today. He was previously acquired by TSG Hoffenheim from Hertha BSC for three million euros. The 31-year-old Bosnian national player made 22 appearances in the Bundesliga last season, scoring three goals. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value at 2.50 million euros.
