Barcelona is reportedly determined to keep Martin. He is under contract until June 2028 and has a release clause that is believed to be €100 million. The Catalan club is also considering extending his deal. It is understood that Inter Milan has made initial enquiries about his contract. Martin joined Barcelona in July 2024. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €40 million. He has also been capped three times for Spain's U21 team.
