The contract of German centre-back Niklas Stark, 31, with SV Werder Bremen will only be automatically extended if he reaches a certain number of appearances. Stark has not made any appearances this season. Without the automatic extension, it is considered very unlikely that Stark will remain at SV Werder Bremen. The two-cap Germany international joined the club in July 2022, and his current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €2.00m.
