Gabriel Suazo, a 27-year-old Chilean left-back, is on the verge of joining Sevilla. Currently a free agent, Suazo amicably ended his contract with Toulouse, which was initially valid until 2026, after failing to agree on a renewal. ABC de Sevilla reported that negotiations are underway for his move to Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, aiming to bolster the team's defense under coach Matías Almeyda. Transfer market journalist Fabrizio Romano indicated that Suazo is set to sign a three-year contract with Sevilla, extending until June 30, 2028. Suazo is expected to arrive in Seville shortly to finalize the details of the quickly arranged deal. Having started his professional career at Colo-Colo before transferring to Toulouse in 2022, Suazo has represented Chile 32 times internationally, and is anticipated to be Sevilla's second summer signing, the first orchestrated directly by Antonio Cordón.
