Fer López Transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Southampton
A report from The Telegraph's John Percy states that Wolves are seeking to send Fer López on loan to the Championship this month. The 21-year-old Spanish attacker joined from Celta Vigo in a £19 million deal in the summer and has only started twice in the league. Wolves are reportedly eager for the versatile player to get more minutes and for his ability to be assessed in the second tier, as the club prepares for a likely relegation. Following this news, Football League World suggested that Southampton should be aware of the possibility of signing López on a temporary basis, stating that his arrival would bring new vitality to Tonda Eckert's squad. The publication also identified Leicester City and QPR as other potential destinations for the player.
