Femi Seriki, a 23-year-old English and Nigerian right-back and a regular player at Sheffield United, has been linked with a move to Everton. A winter transfer is considered unlikely, but Sheffield United might agree to a transfer under the specific condition of a player swap. Sheffield United had previously shown loan interest in Everton's Tim Iroegbunam in the summer and has been searching for a midfielder this winter. While Everton might be hesitant to let Iroegbunam leave permanently, a short-term loan deal could potentially be negotiated if Everton seriously pursues Seriki. Seriki, who joined the club in July 2023, has a contract until the summer of 2027. His current market value is €3.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
