Wolverhampton Wanderers and Norwich City have both submitted €9m offers to Frosinone for the 23-year-old Algerian international winger Farès Ghedjemis. This follows a previous approach from Celtic in January, who made a €6m bid which was rejected. Frosinone's asking price at the time was cited as being between €7.8 million and €10 million. The player reportedly convinced his club to reject that offer because he wanted to finish the season with the Serie B side and preferred a summer move. Although Ghedjemis does not want to play in the Championship, he is said to see the Premier League as the best possible destination for him. There is also interest from German clubs, but they have not yet made any formal offers. It is believed that it is unlikely Wolves and Norwich will complete a deal. Ghedjemis, who has one cap and one goal for Algeria, joined Frosinone in January 2024 for a fee of €300,000 and his contract runs until June 2028. His current market value according to Transfermarkt is €5.50m, an increase from €1.5m in January 2026.
