Facundo Medina Transfer from Lens to Olympique Marseille
Facundo Medina is set to join Olympique Marseille from RC Lens. According to French Foot Mercato, the center-back will initially be loaned for a fee of two million Euros for one year. In the summer, a mandatory purchase clause of 18 million Euros will come into effect, with an additional two million Euros in potential bonuses. Medina has a contract with Lens until 2028 and has played 165 matches for the club since joining from Argentina's CA Talleres in 2020.
Olympique Marseille is reportedly interested in adding Facundo Medina to their squad, as suggested by L’Équipe. The transfer is seen as more than likely. The 25-year-old Argentine defender, who currently plays for RC Lens, has attracted attention from several clubs, including Bayer Leverkusen, Crystal Palace, and AS Roma. Despite facing strong competition, Olympique Marseille remains eager to sign Medina, who has the versatility to play both centrally and on the left side of the defense. Although the potential move is considered highly probable, the involvement of other interested clubs could influence the transfer fee.
