Pedro Aldave revealed that a club from the Dutch top flight recently approached Wolves about taking 21-year-old Paraguayan winger Enso Gonzalez on loan. The move failed to progress because the Championship club refused to include a purchase option. Aldave said that they had a proposal from the Netherlands for a loan and that Wolves do not want to include an option to buy. He added that Gonzalez has two years left on his contract and that Wolves want to recover the player. Gonzalez joined Wolves on 31/08/2023 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €2.50m. In the 2025/2026 Premier League season, he has made 1 appearance.
