A report by the Express & Star indicates that Wolves winger Enso Gonzalez is 'likely' to leave before the end of the transfer window. The Express & Star also claims he is set to leave in the near future. It is expected that Wolves will part ways with the attacker over the coming weeks before the 1st September deadline. His next destination or any potential interested parties remain unknown at this stage. Wolves are not able to offer Gonzalez regular game time, and he is surplus to requirements at the club.

Pedro Aldave revealed that a club from the Dutch top flight recently approached Wolves about taking 21-year-old Paraguayan winger Enso Gonzalez on loan. The move failed to progress because the Championship club refused to include a purchase option. Aldave said that they had a proposal from the Netherlands for a loan and that Wolves do not want to include an option to buy. He added that Gonzalez has two years left on his contract and that Wolves want to recover the player. Gonzalez joined Wolves on 31/08/2023 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €2.50m.
