Eduardo Camavinga Transfer from Real Madrid to Newcastle United

Former Premier League scout Mick Brown stated that while Man United have been linked with Real Madrid defensive midfielder Eduardo Camavinga quite a lot, the club he has heard mentioned recently is Newcastle, adding that it could be an ambitious move for them. Brown also said that if the player becomes available, whether in January or next year, Newcastle could be among those willing to take a gamble on bringing him in.

Newcastle United are planning a move to sign Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who is valued at €80 million. Newcastle can afford the French international, having recently sold Alexander Isak for a British transfer fee.

A report claimed that Newcastle United are one of three Premier League clubs planning a move for Eduardo Camavinga. According to CaughtOffSide, Newcastle are showing interest in the France international defensive midfielder. Real Madrid are said to value Camavinga at €80 million (£70m, $94m), with Newcastle mooted to be a tempting option for him if he wants to ensure he is playing regularly and moving to another ambitious project. Offers were made for Camavinga from Premier League clubs in the summer of 2025, but his entourage maintained that the 22-year-old wanted to stay at Real Madrid. Cadena SER reported on July 24 that Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso personally made the decision to keep Camavinga at the club.

Newcastle United are interested in a potential transfer move for €80m-rated Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

Newcastle United is reportedly prepared to offer approximately €40m for the potential acquisition of Eduardo Camavinga from Real Madrid. Nevertheless, the 22-year-old's transfer is unlikely to occur for anything below €70m, as suggested by a report from the Spanish publication Fichajes. The French international, who is also being pursued by Manchester United, is garnering attention as both Premier League clubs aim to strengthen their midfield line-ups. Despite the interest, no club seems to be nearing Real Madrid's price expectations for the former Rennes player. Camavinga, who is not assured a regular starting position under Real Madrid's manager Xabi Alonso, might be available for the right offer, though time is running short with the summer transfer window nearing its end. The midfielder's contract with the Spanish team extends until 2029, and Transfermarkt assesses his market value at €60m.
