Borussia Mönchengladbach is showing interest in Charleroi's 23-year-old French midfielder Étienne Camara, who is under contract until 2027. The German club faces competition, as several Ligue 1 clubs have also made inquiries in recent weeks. Panathinaïkos has made a new offer for the player, having also targeted him in the winter, at which time Camara chose to finish the season in Belgium. Charleroi is expected to ask for approximately €4 million to complete a transfer. In the 2025/2026 Jupiler Pro League season, Camara made 29 appearances, scoring one goal and providing three assists. He has been capped four times for the France U20 national team. Panathinaikos reportedly had an offer of €5 million plus bonuses rejected in February 2026.
