An intermediary has actively offered Donyell Malen to both Napoli and AS Roma for a potential move to Italy in the winter transfer window. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Rome-based club has significant interest in the 26-year-old Dutch forward. Malen's current club, Aston Villa, acquired him from Borussia Dortmund for a substantial amount in January 2025 and are reportedly not willing to sell him at a loss. An Italian sports newspaper states that the Premier League club is demanding a fee of approximately 35 million euros. The transfer from Dortmund to Aston Villa was completed for a reported base fee of €25 million.
