Dominic Calvert-Lewin Transfer from Everton to Leeds United

Leeds United are reportedly hoping to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer this summer. The 28-year-old is a free agent after his contract with Everton expired earlier this summer. Leeds could use more quality and depth in the attacking unit, and the experienced striker could prove to be a wise addition. Signing him on a free transfer could prove to be a shrewd decision. Journalist Graeme Bailey revealed that Leeds have held talks with Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has revealed his decision to leave Everton once his contract expires on June 30. Leeds United has been mentioned as a potential destination for the centre-forward, although TEAMtalk sources have not confirmed the authenticity of this interest. The 28-year-old England international, who transferred to Everton from Sheffield United in 2016 for £1.5m, will be available for a free transfer starting July 1. Despite facing injuries, Calvert-Lewin made significant contributions during his nine-year tenure at Everton, including scoring a memorable goal that secured the club's Premier League survival in the 2021/22 season. Although Newcastle United had expressed interest last summer, it is uncertain whether they will seek to sign him again.
