Bologna has shown interest in acquiring Widzew Łódź's 21-year-old left-back, Dion Gallapeni. The Italian club aimed to strengthen its squad on the last day of the winter transfer window and targeted the Kosovo international. The transfer is considered unlikely due to the financial demands set by the Polish club. According to media reports, any club wishing to sign the nine-cap international would need to spend around eight million euros. This amount is unacceptable for the team from the Apennine Peninsula. Gallapeni joined Widzew Łódź from FC Prishtina in the summer of 2025 and his contract is valid until June 2029. In the current 2025/2026 Ekstraklasa season, he has made 10 appearances, scoring one goal, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €2.50m.
