Some media linked to Vasco da Gama in Brazil report a new approach by the Carioca club for Dinis Pinto. However, a source from the club revealed to A BOLA that since a proposal of 1.5 million euros was rejected by Moreirense, Vasco da Gama has not submitted a subsequent bid for the right-back, either to improve the offer or to request a loan of the player with an option to buy.

According to A Bola, while Dinis Pinto has been repeatedly linked with Vasco da Gama, the club's SAD has decided to prevent more exits for key players like him. This decision was made despite the transfer window in Brazil still being open.

Vasco da Gama analyzed Dinis Pinto, a 25-year-old Portuguese player from Moreirense, as a candidate for the right-back position before Puma Rodríguez renewed his contract with the club. Other players from the Portuguese market were also evaluated for the role, but after the renewal, Vasco's focus for reinforcements shifted to the left side of the defense. Pinto, who joined Moreirense in July 2023, has a contract with the club until June 2027. In the 2025/2026 Liga Portugal season, he has made 17 appearances, scoring one goal and providing six assists.
