According to transfer journalist Fernando Esquivel, PSV has also contacted Ochoa's agent to gauge interest in a potential transfer. The journalist also claims that PSV scouts were recently present to watch him play. FC Porto has reportedly also made an inquiry about the defender. Ochoa is currently on loan at FC Juárez from Guadalajara, and a quick transfer is considered complicated because Juárez has a purchase option in the deal that they seem likely to activate.
