Denzel Hall Transfer from Rotherham United to Preston North End
Preston North End and Cardiff City are both interested in signing Rotherham's Dutch defender Denzel Hall this summer. Hall performed well for Rotherham despite the club's relegation to League Two, and the club does not expect to retain him because of the amount of interest in signing him. The 24-year-old, who can play at right-back or centre-back, is under contract with Rotherham until 2028, but the club is prepared to accept offers when the transfer window opens. It is reported that Preston are aiming to improve their squad with permanent signings. Cardiff are considering increasing their efforts to sign Hall and are looking for defensive reinforcements. Hall joined Rotherham in July 2025 and has been capped once by the Netherlands at U17 level. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €550k.
