Denzel Dumfries Transfer from Inter to Aston Villa

There is a dispute over the 5 million euros annual salary demanded by the Dutch international, and together with the interest of Aston Villa in signing him, the club has defined the captain of the azzurri as a priority target to cut a possible exit, in the last year of the contract.

Inter is considering selling Denzel Dumfries. The player's contract is set to expire in June 2025. There have been talks about a contract renewal, but it's more likely that the player will be sold as the club doesn't want to risk losing him without a fee when his contract expires. The price for the player is set at 30 million.

Aston Villa has shown interest in Denzel Dumfries, according to Italian media. The Inter right-back's contract is up in 2025 and so far there has been little to suggest that he will extend his deal with the newly-crowned Italian champions. Talks between the two parties are said to be at an impasse, with the Nerazzurri apparently unwilling to accede to the Dutchman's wage demands. With an extension looking unlikely as things stand, Inter will be expected to sell him this summer.

Denzel Dumfries should leave Inter in this transfer window. The negotiation for renewal did not take off in mid-May and, at this point, his departure in the summer seems inevitable, a year from the expiration of the contract. Burned by the Skriniar case, the Nerazzurri company has no intention of losing another starter at zero parameters and aims to sell it to the best offer: it could also be Aston Villa
