Dele Alli Transfer from Como to Wrexham

Goal.com provides an update on the transfer situation surrounding Dele Alli. Dele Alli, recently released by Como and formerly of Tottenham and England, had been linked with a move to Wrexham. However, Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson has suggested that the final squad spot will go to Ollie Rathbone instead, meaning Alli's move to Wrexham appears to be off and his search for a new club continues.

Following the mutual termination of his 18-month deal with Como last Monday, 29-year-old English midfielder Dele Alli is now being connected with a transfer to Wrexham. The midfielder is reportedly drawing interest from several clubs, despite having played just nine minutes of football in the last two-and-a-half years. Among the interested teams is Championship side Wrexham, which is seen as a potential destination where celebrity owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney could help him recover his star value. Fellow Championship outfits Birmingham City and West Brom have also been associated with the player. West Brom is managed by Ryan Mason, his former teammate at Tottenham. According to The Mail, there is also interest that could potentially result in a Premier League return for Dele. Transfermarkt data shows his current market value is €2 million, a considerable fall from his peak valuation of €100 million.
