Preston North End have agreed a £2m deal for Delano Burgzorg, a 27-year-old Middlesbrough forward who is scheduled to have his medical today. A Dutch-Surinamese national, Burgzorg was expected to leave the Riverside Stadium as his club has made numerous signings this summer, despite the player only having joined Middlesbrough on July 1, 2024. Preston North End want to strengthen their attacking options and have also been interested in Tyreece Campbell and Romain Esse, but the Middlesbrough player's transfer now appears to be imminent. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated to be €3.00m.
