Bristol City are interested in signing Middlesbrough's 27-year-old winger Delano Burgzorg this month, as their manager Gerhard Struber has stated his desire to strengthen his attack. The Dutch-Surinamese player is on a list of players the Robins want to sign. Middlesbrough would allow the player, who has two-and-a-half years left on his contract, to leave, provided they can secure a replacement. Boro need to create space in their squad and are considering several attacking targets, one of whom is Jeremy Sarmiento. While the Bristol City manager confirmed this week that one transfer deal is close, it is not clear if this was in reference to Burgzorg. Burgzorg joined Middlesbrough in July 2024 and has registered one goal and three assists in 22 Championship appearances this season. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €3.00m.
