AS reports that Sevilla's attempt to sign Deivid Washington was unsuccessful due to legal issues.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Sevilla is making efforts to secure a loan deal for Deivid Washington. Chelsea is seeking a new destination for the player, who was previously loaned to Santos. Sevilla has a limited salary margin for transfers, and the club is waiting for the potential sale of Rubén Vargas to allow the deal to proceed.

Sevilla is pursuing Chelsea's 21-year-old Brazilian attacker, Deivid Washington, and has submitted an offer for him. Strasbourg has also made a bid for the player and is considered to have an advantage due to the connection between the club and Chelsea's owner, BlueCo. Marseille has also recently made inquiries about Washington. He joined Chelsea from Santos in 2023. His contract with Chelsea expires in June 2030, and he has 12 caps and 3 goals for Brazil U20. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €3.00m. Washington's initial transfer from Santos in August 2023 was for a reported fee of €16 million. A move to Strasbourg was reportedly agreed for €21 million in the summer of 2024 before being canceled.
