Davie Selke Transfer from Hamburger SV to Leeds United
Leeds United have reportedly initiated discussions to sign German striker Devie Selke, who is set to become a free agent at the end of June. The 30-year-old forward netted 23 goals in the 2024–25 campaign, playing a pivotal role in Hamburg’s promotion back to the Bundesliga. Leeds have made direct contact to explore the possibility of bringing Selke to Elland Road.
Leeds United is among three Premier League clubs showing interest in acquiring Davie Selke on a free transfer. Selke, who netted 23 goals in 33 matches last season, is exploring his options as negotiations for a contract extension with Hamburger SV have reached an impasse. According to The Express, West Ham United and FC Fulham are also interested in the 30-year-old striker, in addition to Leeds. While RB Leipzig is believed to be leading the race to re-sign him, the appeal of playing in the Premier League could be tempting for Selke, who has spent his entire career in Germany and may be seeking a final significant contract abroad.
