A number of EFL clubs, including Plymouth, Mansfield, and Burton, have shown interest in signing Derby County's English defender Curtis Nelson this month. According to sources for Football Insider, League Two club MK Dons are the leading club in the pursuit of the 32-year-old. Nelson's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and he has seen his standing in the team decrease at Pride Park. MK Dons manager Paul Warne reportedly admires Nelson, with whom he has previously worked at Derby. The former England U18 international joined Derby County in July 2023 and has made two appearances in the Championship this season. His current market value is €300k, according to Transfermarkt.
