Jones has 18 months remaining on his contract, and although Liverpool are keen to agree to new terms, a final agreement has not been reached. Tottenham Hotspur were also strongly linked with the player, but that speculation has reportedly diminished after they signed Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid.
