L'Équipe reports that a first offer of 8 million euros from Sevilla FC for Cristian Casseres was refused. The publication also states that Casseres wants to leave to play at a higher level and that Genoa is closely monitoring him.

Sevilla made an attempt to sign Cristian Cásseres Jr., a 25-year-old midfielder from Toulouse. The Spanish club submitted an offer of 8 million euros for the player, which was rejected by Toulouse. Toulouse does not want the Venezuelan international to leave this winter, although Cásseres has expressed a desire to play for a more prestigious club. Cásseres Jr., who has 44 caps for Venezuela, joined Toulouse in July 2023 and is under contract until June 2027. In the current Ligue 1 season, he has made 16 appearances and provided one assist. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €7.00m.
