Valencia CF has reached an agreement for the renewal of Cristian Rivero until 2027. The goalkeeper from Gandía has extended his contract with the club for another season. He joined the club at the age of 10 and developed at the VCF Academy. Cristian Rivero made his debut with the first team on December 16, 2020, against Terrassa FC in a Copa del Rey match. In recent seasons, Cristian Rivero played on loan at AD Alcorcón and Albacete Balompié and has established himself as part of the first team, contributing to the improvement of Valencia CF's goalkeeping department.

AS reports that Cristian Rivero's contract renewal with Valencia has been finalized. The goalkeeper will remain at Valencia for an additional season, until 2027.

According to Marca, Valencia has informed Cristian Rivero's entourage of its intention to offer him a contract renewal.

Cristian Rivero's contract ends this June and it is indicated that he will leave Valencia as a free agent.
