Cristhian Mosquera Transfer from Valencia to Bayer 04 Leverkusen

Cristhian Mosquera can count Bayer Leverkusen as among the clubs interested in him. Valencia could be open to selling Mosquera for perhaps as little as €25m in order to avoid losing him on a free in a year’s time. Leverkusen in particular have done some great work with talented young players in recent times, so could make sense as good stepping stone clubs before joining someone like Chelsea or Arsenal later.

Cristhian Mosquera, a highly regarded defender from FC Valencia, is on the radar of Bayer Leverkusen. Valencia is facing difficulties in extending his contract, which is set to expire in a year. Initially, Valencia aimed to set a release clause of 100 million euros, but negotiations have stalled, with discussions around a 35 million euro clause. No further talks have occurred recently, and a summer move is possible.

Cristhian Mosquera is being considered as a potential summer signing for Bayer Leverkusen, as they look for a replacement for Jonathan Tah, who is anticipated to move to FC Barcelona. Sky has indicated that FC Bayern is also interested in Mosquera. The 20-year-old center-back from FC Valencia is regarded as a promising candidate because of his potential and versatility. With Jonathan Tah expected to leave on a free transfer to Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen's sporting director, Simon Rolfes, is actively pursuing new additions to strengthen the squad. The transfer of Mosquera is being evaluated, particularly if Bayer's budget is bolstered by potential player sales, such as the possible departure of Victor Boniface, which could further support this move.
