Fulham FC is closely monitoring Chibuike Nwaiwu after his remarkable season with Trabzonspor. The London club sees the 22-year-old Nigerian central defender as a strategic long-term reinforcement, partly due to the contract situations of Calvin Bassey and Issa Diop. Fulham is not the only club interested, as Bayer Leverkusen is also monitoring the player. Nwaiwu joined Trabzonspor in January 2026, has a contract that runs until June 2030, and has earned one cap for the Nigerian national team. His estimated worth is 7 million euros.
