An offer made by FC Twente to Anderlecht for Cedric Hatenboer was rejected, according to Voetbalprimeur.nl. It appears Cedric Hatenboer prefers a new opportunity at Anderlecht, a situation that is a disappointment for Twente.

FC Twente is among several top-half Eredivisie clubs interested in Cedric Hatenboer, and Sparta Rotterdam, FC Utrecht, Heerenveen, AZ and PSV are also reportedly monitoring the midfielder. The 21-year-old is currently on loan at Telstar from Anderlecht, where he has been impressing since January. Telstar controls the situation as they have an option to buy Hatenboer for a fee of around 2 million euros. FC Utrecht may have an advantage, as the player could reunite with his current coach, Anthony Correia, who is moving to the club in the summer.
